About the federation

A Fédération Internationale Féline (FIFe) é uma federação internacional de registros felinos, fundada oficialmente em 1950, com raízes remontando a 1949 em Paris. 

Atualmente, a FIFe conta com membros em cerca de 40 países (42 organizações filiadas) ao redor do mundo. 

Sua missão é unir e padronizar práticas de registro, orientação, exposições e saúde felina, promovendo normas comuns para raças, padrões, julgamento, formação de juízes e bem-estar animal.

A FIFe também é responsável pelo sistema EMS (Easy Mind System) de codificação de raças, cores e padrões felinos, utilizado amplamente por associações filiadas para registrar gatos com padrão padronizado
